Running & Cobwebs

Running is a great way to get the cobwebs out of my mind. I can usually come up with answers to problems or solutions to creative questions. I often work through stressful situations that often end up only a product of my mind that isn't happening in real life.

Now that I am running on the trails and paths on the farm there is an entirely different situation with cobwebs. They hang between trees. Yuck. They catch onto my arms and (hold your breath) my face. I grew up in the country so spiders aren't a dreaded predator but the feeling of that dang cobweb on my skin still makes me shudder. I also have this sensation that a huge, brown, bug-eyed spider is on my back or in my hair.

I guess I do burn a few more calories as I'm flailing and pulling to get released from this sticky situation but that doesn't mean that I have to like it.

P.S. I apologize to all of you ugly-ass spiders that have to re-build your homes because I came along that path and tore it down. Good luck with the re-build but could you please build higher than 5 foot and 1 and 1/2 inches, please!!
