This morning while I was sitting on the back porch quietly reading a book and drinking a cup of coffee, I realized I was in the middle of rush hour traffic.
First, Bruiser, the Boxer, came around the house and laid his chin on my thigh for a few rubs. A couple of cats came with him. Then about five guineas came around the corner but they were busy pecking for grasshoppers or whatever else in the grass. Several kittens were following them trying to get close enough to smell them. The guineas didn't pay them any mind.
Then the ten or so hummingbirds began their morning ritual of buzzing around the feeders and arguing over who gets which one.
Wow! It's rush hour traffic in the country. The best kind if you ask me.
