Sam decided he wanted a new pair of authentic cowboy boots.

When he arrived home, he stood in front of his wife and said, "Honey, do you notice anything different about me?"

Doris looked him up and down. "Nope," she said.

Sam went into the bedroom and took off all of his clothes except for the new cowboy boots. He went back to his wife and said, "Now do you notice anything different?"

Again, Doris looked Sam up and down. She said, "Yesterday it was looking down, last week it was looking down and tomorrow it will be looking down."

Sam said, "That's because it's looking down at my new cowboy boots."

"Then you should have bought a hat!"
